Firethorne in Katy Continues to Grow

Firethorne is one of my favorite communities. This development has continued to set home sale records year after year, and it certainly is no accident. Combine a fantastic plan with a wonderful location and add quality builders like Perry Homes and Partners In Building and you have all the ingredients necessary for new home sales success. 2010 has been another great year for this thriving community. In a “down market” Firethorne has exceeded all of its previous January to July new home sales. Take a look at my previous post to hear Janet Burkett, marketing director for Firethorne, tell you more about the community.

It was announced this week that Firethorne has broken ground on its newest section, Firethorne West. The westward expansion comprises 430 acres within the 1400 acre master designed community. Ground has been broken on Firethorne West, and expansion of a thriving Katy community Describing the expansion, Firethorne General Manager Wayne Meyer says “there will be 1400 home sites in Firethorne West, in addition to 530 home sites on acreage under development across FM 1463 that will include three lakes with water features".

And if this isn’t enough good news for Katy, let’s not forget that there is a new HEB grocery store at the corner of Pin Oak and I-10, giving residents of Firethorne a convenient place to shop.
